2026 because they didn't intend to announce it yet. It was leaked, and they announced it to cover for that.

I like the model a lot. I think they've struck a really interesting balance between the original model's malice and the newer desire to communicate that this is a metal robot body barely containing the power of a god.

I hope scarabs are not essential to keep him standing, as they do not fit it well (IMO) and I would gladly snap them off and use for 2 more scarab swarms.

Model looks great, quite close to the Den of Imagination sculpt (they have a better looking scythe though)

GWs logic: No terminators for kill team, but Star God's are OK

Model looks lovely.

Grognards will tell you that in the good old days the only proper rite of passage for an aspiring space marine was to beat up an Eldar Avatar silly with your left arm bound behind your back. Necron players protested of not receiving any screen time at all and now this C´tan shard is the new punching bag. Space Marines all over the galaxy are now polishing their footwear in anticipation as a new season of :cuss: kicking time begins.

Having seen the date now I kinda wish it hadn't been leaked.  GW do keep too much under their hat for too long but this is too much the other way.  The text says it's the culmination of a Kill Team season that hasn't even started yet.   Given 1 release per quarter we are looking at the being 10 months out at a minimum.

Depends if the Tomb world campaign is a duology, rather than a trilogy or quartet.

I could certainly see some compression of the Kill Team year so as not to step on 40K 11th ed's toes - Gallowfall came out in May ahead of Leviathan's summer release.
