Persecution Prospect

This is a rough draft of where I am headed. I am sure this could be and or should be refined some and it's a detachment that is seen as one of the weakest. But I ordered 2 kits of the mortar guys and I think this is where they shine. So lets give them a shot.

 

 Kin2 - Leagues of Votann - Presecution Prospect (1995 Points)

Buri Aegnirssen: Autoch-pattern bolt pistol, Bane, Warlord 

 

Arkanyst Evaluator: Transmatter inverter, Close combat weapon 

 

Brôkhyr Iron-master: Ironkyn Assistant, Brôkhyr Iron-master, E: Writ of Acquisition, 3x E-COG 

 

Grimnyr: Grimnyr, 2x CORV 

 

Memnyr Strategist: Autoch-pattern bolt pistol, Close combat weapon 

 

Hearthkyn Warriors: Theyn, 2x Hearthkyn Warrior w/ heavy weapon, 7x Hearthkyn Warrior 

 

Brôkhyr Thunderkyn: 6x Brôkhyr Thunderkyn 

 

Cthonian Beserks: Beserk w/ mole grenade launcher, 9x Beserk 

 

2x Cthonian Earthshakers: 2x Cthonian Earthshakers 

 

2x Ironkin Steeljacks with Heavy Volkanite Disintegrators: Steeljack Theyn, 5x Ironkin Steeljacks 

 

Sagitaur: Armoured wheels, Twin bolt cannon, HYLas beam cannon 

 

2x Hekaton Land Fortress: Armoured wheels, MATR autocannon, Hekaton warhead, SP heavy conversion beamer, 2x Twin bolt cannon 

 

Ant Monster and Anti tank are out friends. Because we don't get the benefit from our rules. So I loaded this list with a bunch of Anit Tank and Monster.

Persecution Prospect seems oriented for Hernkyn Shenanigans and you actually have none on your list. Almost all of the stratagems target Hernkyn units so you won't be using any stratagems and that kind of defeats the purpose of the detachment.

yeah I've been working off of them for a while. should still be 2k.

So 60points if anyone had 3 units of shootie steeljacks and prob another 30 for land forts, kinda kills the new artillery drills

the points cost on them is horrible. their shooting isn't much better to be honest. they can move in a transport but that might be an oversight. they need help for sure. but I bought 2 boxes so I can going to try and force them into a build until I can replace them. lol
