The actual models are absolutely hideous. And the cost? Don't even get me started.

 

I love the look of the new MkII Tactical squad. I have a question;

 

Is the MkII Tactical kit compatible with the shields from the 30k Command Squad, and the power axes from the Legion power weapon set?

With the axes there's no problem,but the shields...Invictarus Suzerain use boarding shields or something very similar, and the command squad uses combat shields, so they're smaller. Think about it.

I think you need more boarding shields.

Alternatively, if you've not got a 3D printer and you've got a Custodies friend, ask for their spare shields!

The Custodes shields is a good idea.

Honestly I'm not sure if I even like them holding the big, thick shields.

 

I really like the Shields that the 40k Bladeguard veterans have, and others that are smaller - hence I was eyeing up the shields that come with the veterans.

But I do agree that the Custodes shields are a brilliant idea so I might just order a few from Ebay...

You could try to get some shields from the stormcast vindictors, or even just some whole snap-fut vindictors and steal their shields. They where all the AoS beginner-boxes so I'd recon you could find them for cheap
