ThePenitentOne
I had thought of picking up last year's AoS dudes- a couple of weapon swaps and that be great alternative Hench models for a Hereticus Inquisitor's retinue. I could also see them fitting with Rogue Traders. The Van Denst and Witchhunter gang from Underworlds work just as well, so no biggie. Probably for the best with that expensive Kill Team box in my future. Magos Takatus
Yup, I cancelled Warhammer+ this year because I didn't feel I was getting enough value out of it, and the promotional minis were good, but not anything that fit in with an army I actually collected, then this happens. Typical. The Lost Son
Thanks all, well that teaches me for sitting on it for a year - still this year's are nice so maybe this time I'll subscribe Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386580-infinitys-lament-warhammer-miniature-for-2025/page/2/#findComment-6129715 Share on other sites
Dr. Clock
Welp - looks like my Wraithlord is picking up a lil friendo. Gonna be a little embarrassing when he's more impressive than Eldrad, but it's a strong vibe nevertheless. Also weird that on both sides of the fence the theme is Necromancer this year lol. Cheers, The Good Doctor. Neil H
Subscription automatically renewed so just waiting for the months cool off period to pass and can add the second figure to the order. Both nice models IMO. Daylight
Is this still available? I've had an active subscription for long enough but when I see the model on the site it says no longer available to claim. Since they just announced it last week I thought we would have more time to get it. It won't be available until the 18th of September I believe- that was what it told me when I was looking at my sub a couple of days ago. jaxom
I forgot to cancel my subscription in time : ( Not terrible, I’ll get around to watching more of the AoS stuff. I highly recommend the Exodite and the Tithes for some really good grim dark. Hammer and Bolter also has some great grim dark episodes. And then there’s that last episode of Pariah Nexus…. Why would anyone pay scalpers more than the cost of the subscription when they could just get their own and get free Warhammer Plus for a year? The legitimate reason - some people may not be able to access WH+ in their country (I think Canada is affected by this?) The stupid reason - some people seem to think that giving money directly to a company offering a subscription service is somehow wrong or "gives the company the wrong idea" but will happily still buy from ebay at inflated prices because... I guess critical thinking wasn't on the curriculum growing up? Joe
Canada's affected, yeah. Down to the "must have x amount of original content produced in local language" thing if I recall correctly? I wound up going for the Spiritseer. Not certain if I'll ever do anything with it. Karhedron
The base sizes are wrong for regular games. These models are really display pieces. I guess if you were determined you could magnetise him so he could either go on the scenic base or on a correctly sized one. It would give you a nice alternative mini but it would require a lot of careful work. Casual Heresy
Just got the confirmation that my Spiritseer is on it's way. I'm a bit torn on whether to build and paint as is, or to rebase the seer and use the wrecked Wraithlord on a future project like the base of an EC Daemon Prince. Create a "Gaming" base and magnetise so that you can switch between that and the diorama. I did this for Umbral-6. Orange Knight
I have been a sub since the start and have all the 40k models in a safe place, still boxed. Typically only Quebec is affected. I live in Ontario and I just got my Spiritseer Tuesday. But Quebec has a lot of separate policies (sweepstakes, contests and lotteries are big on this), and most of that is due to language.
