Possible leak of unreleased Heresy Iron Warriors Dantioch miniature

Apparently somebody is selling on Ebay what looks suspiciously like a legit Iron Warriors Dantioch model : https://www.ebay.com/itm/257080212840?_skw=Dantioch

The seller calls it a "3rd Party model", but the style, details and material are incredibly close to recent HH miniatures released by GW.

That's a fan made Dantioch - it's from the same person that did the custom Perturabo that cropped up at Golden Demon.

The hammer is too big. Apart from that I don´t have a clue, if this model is legit or not.

I don't quite see what suggests this isn't just a fan-made miniature? Even if features and style are similar it's not as if only GW could do those.

Hummm...not sure. It can be, I'm not  sure at all. Something still triggers my curiosity: why someone is trying to sell an official miniature, unreleased,assembled and as 3rd party  product.

They'll almost certainly never do it, but a LEGO IDEAS style way to source ideas from the community would be pretty awesome. It could be for the Warhammer+ models, store anniversaries, or just alts, but I think there'd be an appetite for alternative treatments of some iconic characters and archtypes. For instance, I'm a huge fan of these alternative Eldar Aspect Warriors and think they'd make for a fun box.

After 11th Ed. the Primaris-ization project should be complete. They can spit out new unit types, and there's a mint to be made in Chapter specific upgrade kits, but I hope they focus a little effort on "exploring the studio space" with marine aesthetics more broadly.

It’s not to big heresy has some wacky weapon proportions 

Real or not it’s a beautiful sculpt definitely on par with GW! The proportion's are pretty much perfect too which is rare to see

These are dope, where are they from?

The reisin looks whiter than GW reisin. I'd guess 3rd party. 

 

Still a cool model.

It’s the Iron Warriors Warsmith (Warhammer World Exclusive version) may also be fake though

Actually on closer inspection its the Warhammer world exclusive Iron Warriors praetor. Its the same white reisin as the new one. It could be a recaster though.,
