Deus_Ex_Machina
I need a space ship interior for my future Shattered Legions 500 pts. force. At first there was the notion of buying the boarding action box from GW although later in the decision making process structural rollers came up to create sci-fi designs on the walls and/or floor tiles. So here is now my question to all of you who have used such implements: How good are they? And what is the preferred material to work with to achieve the best results? Do you mean like the Green Stuff World rolling pins? With the special rings to create an even thickness, textured surface on some kind of putty? Might be worth asking in the modelling section. Deus_Ex_Machina
I watched a video of a guy using a Green Stuff World structure roller on styrofoam. You need to press hard and roll it once across the surface material. The problem is that during your roll your application of force may vary as you are not a machine. This will result in a surface which is uneven.
