Hi, I am in search for some pieces of advise.

I already get one unit of 5 Pteraxii Sterilizors and one unit of 5 Sicarans Infiltrators. I have one additinnal box for each waiting to be built. As for Pteraxii I am quite decided to go for a new unit of 5 as these lads have such a wingspan that 10 will be impossible to hide if in a single unit. These chaps are as hard to hide than DE Scourges, even if I use genuine GW scenery. [EDIT: I realize I asked the same question one year ago for Pteraxii and that I've recahed my conclusion by digesting your comments of that time...]

My real doubt is about the Sicarians. Better boost it up at 10 or make a second Infiltrator unit?

Or maybe even Ruststalkers (even if I am not that fond of both their look and their lack of infiltration hability)? Do Ruststalkers worth it at 5 "men" strong?

Thanx for any input.

Backlog update

5 Infiltrators are bread and butter for me, I wouldn't bother reinforcing a unit to 10, but 2x5 is also a great choice. I take 10 Ruststalkers on occasions because they're just rad, and they can be really satisfying if you accept that they'll die the turn after you send them. More frequently I just take a second 5 Infiltrators on the offchance that enemy can't push them both off objectives in turn 1, and they are also natural early game action monkeys. In fairness it's been a few months since I ran AdMech, though.

I only built 15 Infil/stalkers, and 10 of them are conversions which I just use as whichever I need on the day. So I'd recommend building one unit of each build, and then a unit with a mix of armaments/heads so you can either do 2x5 Infiltrators, or 5 Infiltrators + 10 Stalkers... But then if you went to 20 you'll just have 10 of each. Like if 2 of your 10 Infiltrators don't have pistols modeled, nobody will care. Equally if 3-4 of 10 ruststalkers have pistols modeled that they 'never use', nobody will care...

Cheers,

The Good Doctor.
