Wispy
Okay, so I love the new Wolf Scout models and I thought they would kitbash excellently with Thunderwolf Cavalry. I really feel its the perfect vibe for Thunderwolves and gives them a real military use. They're not for Royal Rohan Cavalry Charges. You drop a pack of Thunderwolf Cavalry on a feral world, in areas with rugged terrain and not a lot of infrastructure or supply, and have them operate alone for weeks and months, living off the land as they use their beasties to range far and track and run down enemy targets. last guy. Brother Harnil
That works so good. Also like the buckler sized shields now, compared to what they were for 1st gen wolves. I still have two thunderwolves waiting for new riders so will have to get my hands on the scoutkit sometime. Thank you! I tested with the Headtaker shields and decided they looked too big, went with the Firstborne shields from the TWC kit instead. The wolves are sized for first born riders, so almost everything I did was err on smaller and lighter so they didn't look over burdened. Wispy
More noodling with the Wolf Scout kit. Might be my very favorite Space Wolves kit. Brother Harnil
And that all from one box or multiples? I don't much like plastic/price ratio lately... Like, if you can grab Easy to Build Reivers, they're only like $20 and you can pretty easily use the extra arms and heas to make new Hunters or Specialists. Very true. I did this with the free deathwatch phobos Marines they brought out a couple of months ago. As it is, I still haven't touched my Phobos guys from the Shadowspear box so that will give me something to build with. Don't wait up for the results but they will come eventually Karhedron and Wispy 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386638-wispys-refreshed-deathwolves/page/2/#findComment-6157760 Share on other sites
