The whole thing leaked, so they had to drop it early.

Time to have a little look:.

Edit:

Ok, some early impressions...

Very happy that the Redemptor Dreadnought got a price drop. He was way too expensive.

Blood Angel Sanguinary Guard - wow! What a boost to their profile. Could be too cheap now despite their small bump in cost.

The Lion is a lot better, but did he really need a boost? His rules feel more in line with Guilliman.

I like what I see with the Mechanicus, and Cawl especially. But seriously I'd just prefer a new codex at this point. The profiles and general rules have been changed so significantly from what is printed...

Still T4 bodies so probably pretty fairly priced.

Surprised death guard didn't get touched at all was expecting massive nerfs I guess GW think that last massive points increase was all they needed

Points have felt like enough in my games playing them since the change last month.

Giving Ironstriders double the A and twinlinked is certainly a choice, although I guess the Onager phosphor blaster was already turned into double shots with twinlinked.

What actually changed? I never played it before, but I have the original printed at home somewhere

The detachment rule changed from rr1s to hit to rr1s to wound vs the closest target/melee. And we still get +1 ap to hearthguard and any unit with a khal+uthar attached.

Old rapid fire strat now gives +1 STR, and if you spend a yp, sus 1, and no longer excludes blast weapons.

Bastion shield enhancement (AoC for the unit) can spend a yp to increase its range to 18" (from 12") and can be put on any character.

Warriors and hearthguard with khals are now amazing. Steeljacks with the bastion shield on a memnyr are an anchor.

It may not seem like a lot, but the old version was just extremely anti synergistic with the new rules, and now the detachment makes sense, and can put out the numbers.

The Sanguinary Guard was a terrible change because part of the reason to use Dante with them was the +1 to hit. -1 to hit in melee basically never comes up.
