If Tyrannic War Veterans come back, does that mean they'll release a Tyrannic War Veteran Lieutenant?

That’s kind of what the Combi Lieutenant is, surely?

I painted mine as 1st Company as a call back to the TWV.

I don’t think they need or should come back. They were  cool addition following 4th narrative, but now, in M42, they feel a bit redundant. Cassius would have taken everything the TWV learnt into the Deathwatch.

I’ve been wanting a three-man UM equivalent to SG or ICC, which we have now. In time, I hope all the founding chapters get their own version, but I don’t see a gap in the roster where a new unit makes sense.

I think 11th may be the edition where we get the drip on dreadnoughts like we’ve seen with the more recent SM releases, so maybe a character dreadnought? I always thought they should have killed Calgar when he attempted to cross the Rubicon because Guilliman’s return relegated him to the point that a Calgar Dreadnought would be pretty cool.

The KT Cassius model is a younger Cassius, not him in the current day.

I still maintain that the Tyrannic War veterans, if they return, can be made via an upgrade sprue that is applied to Sternguard or Intercessors.

I also think that an infantry unit that hunts monsters is pretty cool, but in the current version of 40k monsters are less of a threat then vehicles. Back in 4th - 7th it was very much the other way around.

At the same time, a niche unit being assembled via an upgrade sprue is probably the right way to go about it. A chapter specifi unit doesn't automatically have to be a staple in every list built using that chapter.

On Warhammer Community, we’ll be taking a look at the new Drukhari rules and delivering the Inductii rules for the new edition of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. There’s also a fairly weighty reveal on Monday, which is currently prepping for a speedy arrival in the hallowed halls of a battle barge high in orbit…

Yeah, that's super interesting. I know Valrak has been saying Assault Terminators, Terminator Ancient and Terminator Chaplain are coming, I wonder if it's one of the latter two? I feel like Assault Terminators are more of a reveal show type of thing but you never know

Terminators aren't particularly speedy tho.

VanVets maybe?

(Also I thought we just got a Termie Chaplain...)

Speedy arrival could also mean teleport assault. Though judging by the jump captain I would not be surprised if it was VanVets.

Sorry, Terminator Ancient and something else, you're right about the Chaplain

I assumed the speedy was referring to their deployment, which would be by teleport

I was thinking assault terminators from the "fairly weighty" description. Not going to lie though, the speedy part did make me think of the new land speeder rumours but I think that was 11th edition launch box talk.

I would expect them to save Space Hulk for a reveal show rather than a regular Monday article, but then I'd expect them to do the same for Assault Terminators as I'm sure they'd hype them up as much as possible. The wording does make me think Terminators though so who knows.

We already got a recent Terminator Chaplain where they can take the more useful shield instead of a Storm Bolter.
