Thank you.  Thats really helpful.  I also was looking at the Bloodwrack Medusa from the shrine, as she looks wild and the other medusa from the Daughters of Khaine but from what I can tell there about the size of a space marine.  So, I think a little to small to be a Demon prince even if put on a 60 mm.

I too looked at the models in minicompare, but would exercise caution in relying on it - I found out to my detriment in running this year's Call to Arms that its comparisons can be fairly inaccurate, and the above representation does not match my recollection of the actual model from when I saw it a few years back at my local GW.  So, while I think she is probably a fair bit bigger than the demon prince, I don't think she dwarfs it in the way minicompare suggests.

If you are thinking of at some point wanting a Fulgrim model, probably the best bet is to acquire a Morathi, see for yourself how big she is, and build her for whichever datasheet she's the better size match for.  And yeah, the Bloodwrack medusa seems a bit too thin for a demon prince, but could potentially be made to scale with an impressive base with opponent consent to use the base elements as part of the model for LOS purposes.  Or you could use the medusa as the world's most impressive spawn.

I saw a conversion cutting Morathi off around the middle where she starts to curve and put a demon prince torso on her.  A shame as I sort of like the slim snakey look.  It screams slaanesh to me.  Also, a suggestion I saw was get the Marwloc tail part, and cut off a demon prince at the torso and stick it up there.  I dont like the tyranid scales as much.  Its also a possibility.  I like the new demon prince kit and the old ones.  I just painted the skin purple like my demonettes as there is nothing that says I am a slaanesh prince.

I found a reasonably priced morathi still in bits and an unassembled one. Rather go with the unassembled one for ease.  Had the thought if you cut the body around where it starts to angle up you can fit a different torso on it. Fill gaps with green stuff. Torso ideas are keeper of secrets, fiend of slaanesh, slaangor or better yet the torso from the voice of slaanesh kit. Problem now is tracking down a torso.  Other torso ideas is also daughters of Khaine models or even use morathi herself. Expect that might be weird.  I figured you'd want a cloth piece from say noise marines or the Tormentors kit to help close up gaps. Then since I have a spare head I was going to slap the extra voice of slaanesh head on it.

Then there is also, at a much cheaper price the bloodwrack viper from the daughters of khaine endless spells. Would probably allow for a bigger torso.  Doesn't solve the wings issue with this route though or torso.

Still probably just going to need to take a prince from my slaanesh demons.

I think the easiest cut off point would be just above the "skirt" portion and to replace the torso, arms and head with CSM bits.  The tricky bit will be how integrated those bits may be with the wings - I suspect you'll only have to use the CSM torso front, but I'm not sure how much room there would be for shoulder pads.  There is also the issue of the rather tiny (in comparison to the model) CSM scale weapons the CSM additions would likely have, which seem a bit small to represent the demon prince profiles - one though would be for the main arm to use a larger scaled arm (such as from the spawn, slaangor or possessed kits) instead, with again perhaps a weapon swap from the one attached to that arm for something even larger.  I had contemplated a similar conversion in 8th ed., but ultimately shelved it as I hadn't come across satisfactory (to me at the time) answers to these questions.  That said, there are more solutions to draw on now than then, so that doesn't mean these issues are insurmountable.

As for the bloodwrack viper, I think you would need a pretty massive (so, bigger than CSM sized) torso on the thing to convincingly field it as a demon prince - that said, if that is sortable, it might make a decent foot prince (or winged, if you can sort the wings as well).

Yeah. I agree with all the points. I just really like the idea of a snake demon prince. I have tracked down an old resin fiend still in blister.  That could work as a body. If I recall right that has 4 arms. Can use the left over arms from the voice of slaanesh kit I suppose. Then the head from the one I don't use. Take morathi's wings. Currently assembling the second voice so I know what parts I can steal if I go this route

Yeah its that guy.  I used to have some in Resin.  They're definitely really ugly as things go.  I need to actually see the torso size of the snake body on Morathi though, or even that bloodwrack viper to make a judgement.  For some reason I thought it had 4 arms.  Still not a deal breaker.

Got hold of this lovely critter.  Need to rebase it down to a 60mm but that shouldnt be hard to do.  Now to find a more fitting torso.  That or use as is.  I found it at the second hand miniature store and I was like wow.  It has wings all ready.  Sure beats hunchbuck plastic demon prince.
