Sume
Well, the title states it all. I been trying to figure out an Emperors Children list using Carnival of Excess for narrative events. With the grand narrative coming up. I honestly really dont want to paint a lot of stuff. I have like 10k points of painted slaanesh demons as of what was 8th ed. Quick look through the index looks like I cant run my mounted hearlds of slaanesh anymore and the chariots still sort of stink The faction pack was a little confusing to me. I saw one that allowed a mix of demons with CSM, and at 1k points it was like 250. Then one that was about a 50/50 with a small selection of CSM units but nothing like demon princes. Then the grotmas detachment. There was something that caught my eye that slaanesh demons couldnt be overwatched. Not sure which of the first two it was. Also, some nice deepstriking things that let you set up within 3 inches for a CP I think and one for 6" off a KoS. Since I only have painted Slaanesh demons. Made me think about I might get better milage out of what I have painted for EC by using the mixed detachment from this index. Then of course since the grand narrative is crusade. Is that even a good idea, as not sure if I saw crusade rules or not. It would mean I wouldnt have to do any bookkeeping haha. Expect crusade does get more powerful as it goes. I wounder if this would be more enjoyable. Only real things I got do is, find the case that has all the command squad demonettes in it. Which is in a storage closet atm, place magenets on the bases of stuff and away we go. I just dont really know whats good anymore. Also, seeing demenottes are 100 points and EC gets them for 90 . Guess there better here as they can actually get leaders.
