So, just in time for it to go into Legends, I assembled this a little while ago and intend to finish it off by the end of the year.

A fair few bits are dry fitted. The swirly ribbons are from an Age of Sigmar model. Can't recall what it's called but it's some Fae thingy with a bow.

The Wraithseer is suspended by a brass rod through its left foot. I wanted to give the impression it is rising into the air admit a maelstrom of psychic power. The end of the ribbons will be attached to the shoulder pads.

Thoughts and constructive criticism most welcome.

Neat conversion.

What's the logic on the long super-swirly tabard pieces? Are they going to be remade into an energy vortex, or stay as cloth?

Thank you. I saw the AoS model and went 'wait a minute...'

The swirly cloth/tabard pieces will be painted as though they are glowing with energy, surrounding the Wraithseer in a swirl of psychic power.

Not entirely decided on the colours, yet, but I paint Craft world Il-Kaithe, so that's a good start.

Can't wait to see paint on it @GSCUprising!

Soon as I am confident to do so, I promise.

Rovfugl first, then this. I have some pics of the Rovfugl from start to finish I will post on here soon.

Dark Eldar Archon. The base is from. Chaos Termie commander. The body mostly an AoS wood elf kit or something like it. Lots of greenstuff to fill in the gaps. Added Huskblade and Blast Pistol.

Blast Pistol is damaged, but easy fix.

Very nice model, but it speaks to me more as a follower of nurgle than as drukhari.  That said, an appropriate paint scheme might change that.

Agreed. I will take a couple of pics from a different angle tomorrow. Part of the issue is getting the potato this phone uses as a camera to take a decent pic. I'll break out the DSLR.

If anything, it looks more Exodite to me with the antlers and pelt.

@W.A.Rorie Got the day of tomorrow, so will work on the Rovfugl tomorrow. I will post some progress pics.

I've already drilled all the appropriate bits to mount the LEDs Hopefully, I'll get a partial assembly done with it.

Once done with the Rovfugl, I'll get to work on the Wraithseer, the DE Archon, and Barcza's spec ops (Kasrkin) team.

A couple of small updates to the Night Rovfugl.

Still most dry-assembled and no highlights done to the craft itself. All the LEDs are working but I've only two hands so can't test them and show a pic, yet! I've made a small cradle to go into the back from sprues that'll seat the battery.

Hopefully, you can see the look I was going for by reversing the wings. I think it and the colour makes it look more predatory.

Haha, why thank you. On the mend, now, so more confident with my modelling. I've started on some battle scars, too. You can see my start on them on the wing.

Once it's done, I'll be sure to post some images of it illuminated and also next to its stablemate, LV426, for comparison

This one will be named LV223, the moon from the movie Prometheus.

I stepped out onto the roof. The night was clear. Cold, clean air filled my lungs, the reprocessed grit of the meeting room behind me now. I took a deep breath. The air felt sharp enough to sting. A low thrumming started in my chest. Not sound. Vibration. Like something vast and unseen was stirring below my ribs.

Then it arrived.

The Night Rovfugl descended, matte black, a dull rasp issued from her turbines kicking up dust on the traverse below, a dark spectre blotting out the humming lights of the outpost She hung there in the air, just above the street.

“Well, damn. I was hoping for a quiet evening,” I muttered.

Tweaked phraseology a little.

A little more progress on the Night Rovfugl. Still mostly dry-fitted, but she's taking shape.

I'm going shape a little case over the white LED on the port side, as it, well, just looks like a bloody LED. I'll do that before I start detailing and highlighting the hull.
