Hello just wanted to say hi before I head through the topics and learn what I can! After hanging up my painting when the figures were still made of lead, I’ve never even considered dropping back in until very recently. For no reason at all, I passed a warhammer shop and this time I headed in. Bought a starter set.

when I was a teenager, I never played battles, but enjoyed the painting aspect, although I was never any good. I had a small group of Space Wolves, as they had only recently got there codex at the time, so White Dwarf magazine was all over them.

And here I am, 30 years later….. painting Space Wolves!

Things have changed a lot in the Warhammer World, so I need to do some research, and this time around, I may actually play once I have a band of marines that I’m proud of. Ha.

so hello to you all.

im Dave….. and I currently own 5 intercessors (practising techniques) - although I won’t be winning any painting competitions- I have a long way to go!
