Back into the Heresy - first 1500 list

A little bit of background: I made all of my purchases under the Second Edition rules, and now I'm catching up with the 3.0 rules, and wrestling with the Detachment rules.

I don't have a lot of HQ options, and I'm in the process of kitbashing more of them.

Finally, I have some more stuff that what's shown below, including: 5 volkite charger dudes, 20 cataphractii termies (most with magnetized arms), 2 Contemptors, 1 Spartan, 5 heavy bolter dudes, 1 apothecary, Fafnir Rann, 1 Sicaran Venator (still in box).

Is this army actually playable? I don't mind being super competitive.
