It’s got a skull on it, but in the grim darkness of the far future the toothpaste probably has skulls on it too, so that’s not a lot to go on.

 

Related to a new Corsair character? Or to the rumours of Cortez returning to the Crimson fists? Or something else entirely?

Could also be general Imperium based as it doesn't look like power armour.

Looks like the same icon shared by the Primaris Captain, though I'm sure it appears elsewhere on some other Marine kits (I can't remember the name of it). Could be a beard on the left of the picture, so probably not Huron?

It looks that way to me - it seems like the Crux medal has been torn from where it had been suspended, so I think it's been taken as a trophy by a Traitor Astartes.

My guess is a Chaos Marine character with the former owner of the crux terminatus(?) under his boots as a tactical rock.

I don't think it's Huron because he needs that hand to hold his axe, unless it's planted into the ground or a corpse. But yesterday Valrak did mention rumours of Red Corsairs getting a command unit and some sort of elite unit alongside the big man himself, so it could be either of those.

Hm. What -is- Huron’s backstory? Was he some sort of loyalist that turned traitor? In that case it could be him, having torn off his own emblem in a symbolic show of defiance, maybe?

 

eeeehh… would probably be weird, since the turning would’ve happened long ago.

Huron told the space IRS where they could shove their collections letters, and when they sent their goons, he exercised the second amen—articles of just succession. He is a great man, and in this house he is a hero. End of story.

It was a glorious conflict also called The Great Tax Evasion War 

If they bring back Huron id love them to maybe touch on the Red Scorpions and/or Minotaurs again, especially a new Asterion Moloc would be amazing!

Man I hope we get a new Huron soon. He's my favorite Chaos character.

That's an armoured gauntlet of a Space Marine but the armour on the arm looks non-standard. This is definitely a Chaos Space Marine model. Probably Red Corsair or renegade character, but I don't think it's Huron. Huron should have his power axe in his left hand. 

Edit: It would be an injustice to exclude Huron's power axe with the trophy Iron Halo from his new model.

Was going to respond in the other place where you have a longer post, but here its more on-topic XD

 

last AoS end of edition campaign had a lot of very asymmetric "character" units ( if 3 is a lot.. but.. comparatively.) I could see them doing the same here. Maybe not even just spacemarines. ( well definitely not just spacemarines as I'd imagine the hamadrya is part of it.)

 

I actually wonder if one of the strangest one to apply here.. applies here. the Xenos shotgun. And they will be less a chaos corrupted bunch but more a renegade heretic look ( including using xenos weaponry.) though a big part of thinking this is that I just dont see another Tau kill team this soon, and a Tauxillery named character in an end of edition campaign would suprise me more. ( especially one that is down-to-earth.)

Honestly I'm just annoyed that Huron's flamer sucks in game. It's worse than the Cultist character for whatever reason.

Yeah for sure, they are all over Primaris models.   There's an example at the top of the thread.  It could be a copy and paste job for how exact it is.

The ones I can see on Primaris Marines don't come across "exact" to me. Similar, obviously, but the one in this rumour engine has much of metal visible going between the side and middle.

The skull variant of it seems to be a primaris thing, pre-2017 variants of this badge seem to have a gem instead.
