Obviously there have been amazing entries year after year for decades, but that is a seriously impressive showing near across the board there. Wow.

Looking over it again, Hendarion is still going?! Guy was intensely awesome decades ago on Portent/Warseer!

Some absolutely beautiful painting on display. The patterns on the robes for that Necromunda entry in particular are astonishing.

The standard of painting is one I can only dream of. While I love the 40K miniatures, those AoS ones just knocked it right out of the park.

Absolutely spectacular. Seeing the progression from when Golden Demon started to now is also pretty interesting. Miniature painting has become a legitimate art.

Genuinely outstanding winners. It's insane how the standard keeps amping up each year.

 

The Youngblood entries are bonkers good. They'd have won any competition back in the 90s. Hats off to them.
