Rapiers came out before saturnine, beyond the launch box the only new kits were the fellblade and assault squad with the two these should've been in the liber journals

The new loadouts for Cataphratii and Breachers appear to already be in the Liber, as are all the options for the Fellblade and Assault Squad?

We have no idea what the Mechanicum unit is and the Custodes only exist as a free pdf at the moment. They've explicitly said Talons are getting a Liber alongside a wider release, so I don't know what you think should have been in the Libers?

They mean the journal stuff should’ve been in the libers. I quite like the journals so far though.

Valrak says there might be more Ultramarines on the way. Something to do with a campaign in the 500 worlds against the Necrons.

Seriously...that is amazing news. I doubt we would see them at the preview, seems a bit hot on the heels of the last release.

If they have something to show for Talons of the Emperor, I'm guessing it's going to be female Custodes models.

Aren't there still things from previous reveal shows that haven't released? I could've sworn we're still waiting on some resin characters.

Have they ever showed any Legion specific Praetors at these shows? A few Legions could still use that.

Maybe we'll see that plastic Rogal Dorn (primarch not tank) that's been rumoured.

Angron Transfigured and Lotara, otherwise everything that's had a 'full' reveal (not just a teaser) is out in the wild.

Both 30k and TOW have been suspiciously absent of much new resin, which does make me wonder if they're just going all-in on plastic going forward - particularly after the Tomb King BSB had a resin sculpt for ten minutes and then a plastic a year later.

From what I remember, it has usually been Plastic Kits for existing Resin units, characters were revealed in Heresy Thursdays.

I cant wait for the reveal show in February when they reveal them again

I think they're going the longest after preview before release, and for the Heresy thats saying something

Valrak has been saying lately (at least in today's stream) that Battlefleet Heresy is coming, which those rumors were relaunched this week in the weekly teaser. I doubt this show will have it as a reveal but I wonder if they'll make a nod to it or something

(To make it clear I doubt it, but I'd say its decent timing for it given that Dropsite Massacre just released and Ashes of the Imperium on the horizon)

Thanks for the spreadsheets, they are very helpful. The only thing close to Necromunda's age is Adeptus Titanicus, but I assume that game doesn't really receive much attention? GW still sell it on their website, but the Warhammer Community site's articles about it are from 2023 and before.

The big issue for me with AT/LI is they set it in the Horus Heresy and thus limited to the scope to a handful of Imperial factions. I was a huge fan of Epic/Space Marine back in the day but I just can't get my interest up for a game with no Xenos factions. Where are the clanking Ork Gargants and speedy Eldar superheavy Grav tanks? What do Tau and Necrons looks like in Epic? Can I have my Squat Colossus back in the guise of Leagues of Votann?

I love the HH novels but 40K is where I want to play my games. I appreciate we probably can't get a new game with 20+ factions available at launch but at least starting with a handful and a roadmap for more would be a good start.

BFG did this quite back in the day starting with an Imperium vs Chaos core set and then adding Orks and Eldar pirate fleets. They then added other factions via specialists games. Speaking of BFG, the new hint that it might be coming back has my wallet trembling in trepidation!

Some reliable sigmar peeps have said a BFG: HH is on the way, you might want to put the wallet on ice maybe?

So these whispers of Battlefleet - I'm hearing "Battlefleet Heresy"

Please, just no. I want 40k, because that opens up all the fun Xenos factions if the game is a success. Tyranid Bio Ships, Necron Pyramids, Tau Cruisers, etc etc

A Horus Heresy setting instead of Battlefleet Gothic in 40k would be a massive disappointment. I've always wanted to play the game i'd absolutely get it if it was 40k, but I have no interest in a Horus Heresy setting version beyond maybe a few of the more iconic ships just for display. It not being 40k would be just a baffling decision, missing out on all that variety yet again.

My guess is it's simpler from a mold perspective as you COULD get two sides from the same set of ships, opening up the option for someone splitting a box or keeping the entire thing for one force like the HH main boxes, Titanicus, LI.

However I WANT it to be 40K to honour where Battlefleet came from, hopefully keep the interest up and we can make do with using 40K rules/models (although I would hope if they did the 40K way they released an official Heresy supplement and ships).

Battlefleet Heresy would be such a tragedy. I really hope it doesn't go that direction.

I would not invest in the game on principle. We already have 30k, Titanicus, Legions Imperialis and a rainforest worth of novels.

I've had enough of the Horus Heresy to last me the next 30 years lol

As someone who loves the Heresy and has fallen out of love of 40k, I do think that BFG should be set in 40k with just an expansion for 30k which would be easier with just technically Imperial/Chaos ships.

If theres a deep enough bench of ships to offer enough variety then it should be fineish if it's BFH. If it is BFG, I hope they don't slop it up like they did ripping LI from SM2 and actually smooth out balance issues (you get to lose into eldar unless you're necrons because they're just better than everyone!). Or make it so one offs don't get ruined by the mechanics meant for campaign play.

We know how GW tend to operate, so imagine it like this;

Black Templars vs Necrons. (Blood Angels vs Orks could still be 30k, so this ensures its a 40k game).

The starter box is great; nice marine fleet, nice necron fleet. No rules for anything else, because GW don't do that.

The game is at least fun, but riddled with overly wordy issues and a few glaring errors that won't be fixed for a while if at all.

The month of release sees WHTV and White Dwarf content.

9 months later, the marines and the necrons have had a second wave and there's been a campaign book.  WHTV and White Dwarf are silent and will remain so until the next edition.

Another 9 months later (so 18 months after release) a FAQ/Errata is released that fixes none of the glaring issues the community discovered at release.

6 months later there is a big warhammer preview event that showcases nothing from the Battlefleet range.

6 months after that everything is out of stock as GW prepare for BFG2.0; Space Marines vs Orks!

The cycle then repeats for 3 years, but with orks and the occasional Necron unit.

3 years after that it's Eldar, 3 after that its Tyranids. Over 20 years will have passed before the game has all the proper factions.

40k based BFG isn't going to happen, IMO.  If it does then I'll donate money to servitors in need, but aside from that the players who want it has best support it through GW, because if they see you guys playing with 3D printed eldar space ships then it simply won't last.

I do like the idea of Battlefleet: Heresy, if only to collect some of those Gloriana and Abyss Class ships. Other than that I would also prefer it be 40k for some of the wacky xenos ships.

Honestly, my memory of battlefleet Gothic was it was the feels bad moments from the poorly written, poorly balenced Xenos expansion fleets (looking at you Dark Eldar) that killed the momentum and enthusiasm and having seen how flawed Dropfleet Commander was - partly from how I saw it as a result of having to give the factions different identities - I'm more hopeful of the game if it is 'same ships, minor flavour rules' than 'unplayable mess you are house ruling factions/ships out of.'

I just don't trust modern GW to make a new games system with multiple factions that works out the box - I'd rather have a limited faction game with depth of ship choice that works than an open wide ranging mess with one ship per class for 6 factions.

I think the main reason for all the Heresy games is that it's specialist game studios bringing back these classics. It feels like they're not allowed to touch 40k as that's "main studio" material.

I'm fine either way. Give me pretty imperial ships and a good basis. You'll get marines, imperial navy, mechanicum from GW and can't imaging there won't be a fan made Xenos expansion. There's already dozens of stls and 3rd party options for BFG style ships.
