This wouldn't be too unrealistic because previous end of edition campaigns still had codex releases alongside them, wich isn't the case now.

It is... odd, to say the least. For starters that's extremely close to an existing head in the Berzerkers kit but with the proportions of the bunny ears seemingly altered, which is already weird.

 

But what's also odd is the size/proportions of the backpack's arms. They look too small. Look at Bile as a comparison, since the rumour engine's arm feels extremely similar in design and scale.

 

 

 

I'm not saying it's definitely fake based on this, but it does look rather strange, even if it turns out to be real. The background is in line with the other World Eaters boxes.

 

Edit: Also, on closer inspection, I do not think Chaos Marines tend to have the little square indent thingie visible here that is so prevalent on loyalist models

For me the biggest tell this might be fake is it's called Berzerker surgeon and not something like Tormentor Blood-slaughter Surgeon

And on the subject of the background, it'd appear that it's the same as the Eightbound box, but it's mirrored and the details are off. Make with this info what you will, as I don't know how much GW doctor or reuse their backgrounds. But I gotta say the column(?) that is originally next to the Eightbound's leg does look a bit... melty on the leak.

Wich is the one thing in favor of it not being fake. ( and the fact a lot of elements are similar but not exact matches to other bits, wich is what you'd exactly expect from a CAD design.. especially a lazily done one) 

 

It is so off beyond that, in addition to what others said, the bare arm looks thinner and cleaner than the jackhals arms, not something you'd expect from a GW design.. or the lack of doodads on the tabbard.. if it wasnt for the box and kill team having gone beyond that id said its maybe from an upgrade sprue kill team if real. 

 

But has AI really gotten this good ? Because for a conversion its too few directly indentifiable parts and too good a paintjob to be made just for this.. And i cant find it anywhere ( wip or otherwise)

I dunno if it’s real or not, but the inability to tell if something is legit or not is hardly new. I will never forget the first primaris leak and sooooo many people were convinced it was a conversion lol

To be fair that was a picture of a workbench with a converted savage orc behind it ( i need to check if it wasnt actually a beastsnagga in hindsight XD ) but yes its still true

I don't remember there being a rumour of a votann jump unit from a reliable source?  It was just one of the things many were assuming there would be because there was a jump pack in the killteam, even though that's not how Killteam units work.

If this is true, this has to be one of the worst miniature I ever see, as concept and execution.

 

But it seems fake to me. Look at the leg in the front, it's smaller than the other one. Maybe the angle?

The back pack, the horrible shoulder pads, which I hated even for the single one on the current berzerkers...

It's fake, at least in my opinion. Look the servo-arms and helmet. And the chainsword reminds me a lot the Night Lords one, of the KT set.

Someone wrote "there it is", Valrak then replied with a meme. That's sufficient acknowledgement and confirmation. It's also been a long term rumour from Valrak. Not sure it needs the attitude being displayed here.

Not sure where the perceived attitude is coming from, although I do have a tendency to sound more aggressive than I intend to, so I apologize. But I think Valrak's referring to the 500 worlds thing since the "there it is" post was referring to it.

 

@Chapter Master Valrak can you confirm or deny if you were talking about the 500 worlds thing of the berzerker surgeon? Or if you've heard anything about how legit the latter is?

it looks like chinese fake with odd proportions and mashup bits. 

LEgs and torso too big while shoulder pads are somewhat normal, yet arms are skinnier then space marine scouts.
