Do sword bros have them? They have gnarly rules and with 2 characters attached can punch really far up without having to play a mini game like Head Takers do 

@Kassill - Victrix don't have them (assuming there what you meant by sword bros). At the end of the day, I'm pretty sure headtakers don't have grenades because the models don't have them. I just feel like I've been conditioned to think that marines in power armor have them, so I expected them to be there and will give people the benefit of doubt for that reason.

I don’t have their book but games-workshop says they do have grenades 

Looking at elite melee units, with or without Grenades gives the following

 

Yes Sanguinary Guard

Yes Bladeguard Veterans

Yes Company Heroes

 

No Inner Circle Companions

No Wolf Guard Headtakers

No Victrix Honour Guard

 

So it looks like Sanguinary Guard are the anomaly in being the only chapter-specific honour guard unit to have Grenades

I don't have the BT codex to hand but a certain site that has datasheets says Sword Brethren have Grenades too. Seems a bit arbitrary on whether or not one unit has it and another faction equivalent doesn't.

Had a scrimmage with the hunter list 

 

Against BA angelic inheritors with 2 lancers and plasma inceptor brick

 

Went second and conceded round 4

 

A melee list with no advance/charge

no lance on demand

no AP buff

 

sanguinary guard ate my stuff with no difficulty 

 

I'll keep trying but I dont know if this list is really viable in an actual meta event

I get this (and admittedly I'm a complete newb to 10th edition).  But isn't this almost the same as with Saga of the Beastslayer (our much more popular choice).  Is Sustained Hits really worth losing advance and charge? OK ... its nice to have, it punches up a bit on low Strength attacks against high T targets (which seems our "bag") but is it really that good?  Or are there stratagems I am missing that make up for it?

I dont play beastslayer because yes...melee problems lol

 

Although beastslayer does have reactive moves and wound +1 on demand that make it more flexible

 

I usually play gladius SW for advance + charge and lance + extra AP

 

But I am currently experimenting with everything b/c I can't find anything that feels good yet.

Rogue Trader Entourage and Breachers are interesting choices even though 195 points seems like a big price tag for an Infiltration blob that can be relocated before the battle begins.
