Dr_Ruminahui
ASTARTES | IMPERIUM | CHAOS | XENOS | HERESY Call to Arms 2025 Final Summary First of all, thankyou to the newcomers and returning members who participated in the 2025 Call to Arms, whether or not you completed your Vows, you have all made the event the success it has been. Between the five Strongholds, we completed 3,028 pts. of painted models which is an OUTSTANDING result by any metric. Stronghold Artificers POLLS: ASTARTES | IMPERIUM | CHAOS | XENOS | HERESY Across the five Strongholds, the Mods and Admins faced the difficult task of voting for their favourite entries from within each Stronghold. These three entries then faced off against one another in a Frater Poll to claim the title, and badge of Stronghold Artificr. Below you will find the five Stronghold Artificers, please join me in congratulating them on their oustanding entries, Spoiler Astartes - Chaplain Raeven's Dark Angels Chaplain Imperium - The Pounder's Krieg Artillery Chaos - Volgon's Dark Apostle Xenos - Alby the Slayer's Drukhari Tantalus Heresy - richmarine's Salamander Assault Squad Master Artificer POLL: MASTER ARTIFICER POLL Once the five Stronghold Artificers had been selected by the Frater, they faced a new poll against one another, this time to claim the title and badge of Master Artificer. Surviving three rounds of voting, from a sea of outstanding entries, please join me in congratulating 2025's Call to Arms Master Artificer... Spoiler @Volgon Volgon's AMAZING Heretic Astartes Dark Apostle was as standout model from the beginning, and is a most deserving recipient of the Master Artificer title - it's a master piece in both painting and conversion. Favourite Young Blood We had no frater participating as Young Bloods this year, so Call to Arms 2025 has no award for this category. Master of the Forge POLL: MASTER OF THE FORGE This year's Master of the Forge featured 13 entries, each a masterpiece in their own right. While there were a number of popular entrants, there are two that rose to the top - with the winner beating out Volgon's Dark Apostle by 1 vote. Please join me in congratulating 2025's Master of the Forge... Spoiler @Jolemai A very creative combination of novelty lighting, drop pod, imperial bastion, and other assorted parts, Jolemai's void generator is a mechanicus' dream and very deserving of the win. Grand Marshal We had a total of four frater complete more than 100 points of models, a truely monumental achievement. Competing in the Xenos Strongold, we had @Bouargh complete 117pts worth of models, in the Heresy Stronghold, we had @Dwango complete 152 pts worth of models, and across the Imperial, Chaos, and Xenos forums @Antarius competed 297pts worth of models. However, even this very impressive point total was not enough to secure the title of Grand Marshal, which went to.... Spoiler @SgtSharp who completed an immense 410pts worth of models for the Heresy Stronghold, earning her the title for the second year in the row. Spoiler Xenos Stronghold Out of 1,035 points worth of models pledged, the various Xenos Factions manged to complete 839 points worth of models. Notably, they beat Heresy, preventing it from repeating its win of last year, by only 2 points! That equates to a 81.06% Completion Rate, which is a fantastic result. If you completed your Vows in the Xenos Stronghold, you may add the Masters of the Horde badge to your signature. Coming in 2nd, the Heresy Stronghold completed 837pts worth of models, Coming in 3rd, the Astartes Stronghold completed 593.5pts worth of models, Coming in 4th, the Chaos Stronghold completed 560pts worth of models, Coming in 5th, the Imperium Stronghold completed 198.5pts worth of models. Spoiler Imperium Stronghold Despite being the newest Stronghold, and the Stronghold with the fewest number of participants (only 7, compared to Astartes' 24, Xenos' 21 and Chaos and Heresy's 18 each), it completed 198.5pnts of its 214.5pnts vowed, missing the 100% mark by just 16 points. It was however, enough to secure a 92.54% Completion Rate - only a bit over 2% points lower than last year's highest completion rate. If you completed your Vows in the Imperium Stronghold, you may add the Masters of the Call badge to your signature. Coming in 2nd, the Astartes Stronghold achieved an 81.81% Completion rate, Coming in 3rd, the Xenos Stronghold achieved an 80.06% Completion rate, Coming in 4th, the Chaos Stronghold achieved 66.43% Completion rate. Coming in 5th, the Heresy Stronghold achieved 59.24% Completion rate. and with that, we are at the end. Thank you all, once again. Without your participation and support, this event would not be the success it was, so pat yourselves on the back, maybe even a high-five, you all deserve it. Hoping to see you all at the next Forge Event..... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Previously there have been some issues with sizing/formatting to add these Badges into you Signatures, the *best and most reliable* way we've found to reduce these issues is to; - Right click on the badge - Select "Copy Image Link" - Paste the link into your signature, and the forum software will automatically turn it into the image. SgtSharp
as other others have stated, a big thanks to @Dr_Ruminahuiand @Grotsmasha for this great event, although as gaulling as it is to have my stronghold's title snached from us by 2 points, it just means i will have to redouble my effort next year, go even bigger Dr_Ruminahui and Grotsmasha 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387123-call-to-arms-2025-final-summary/#findComment-6143251 Share on other sites

Dr_Ruminahui
That doesn't make it less insane, just you more so. Either way, an extremely impressive feat. As for being 2 points short, I think that shows that CtA is really a team event, no matter how large some of the individual vows may be. If any of the Heresy participants with uncompleted vows had instead completed them, Heresy would have been in the lead. Xenos just happened to combine the 2nd highest vow total with the second highest completion rate to eke out a win. And that's no slight on Xenos - it was a fantastic team effort by them, and an earned win.
