Lathe Biosas
Why put Sly Marbo in a Transport? Wouldn't he be better sitting on objectives, using his Lone Operative ability to keep him from being shot at? kabaakaba
If you want transport with teeth take doomhammer or banehammer. They pretty good with light vechicles, or more like any vechicles at least doomhammer with his melta 6 at 24" against vechicles. You trade 14 seats for that gun. I don't remember anything cool to put inside alongside bullgryns so let's it be marbo. GSCUprising
I just follow the 'Rule of Cool.' I don't mind shelling out 300pts on a model, but watching the panic on the mind of my opponent makes it worth it. I 100% agree rule of cool is the way to go, but it would also be nice if the cool stuff was good too. I've been at GW games for about [tries to cough and hide the word] 30+ years or so. It's quite rare I game now. I more prefer the conversion and painting side of things. I reckon most people on this board would table me on turn 2, haha. I also enjoy writing in-universe stuff. I find it quite cathartic and relaxing. I am in agreement with @Emperor Ming, but GW, in keeping with dropping a lot of their FW range (shame) have made a lot of models now available in plastic rather than resin which makes it more widely available to budget conscious gamers. Take the Kriegers, for example. Or my Malcador Infernus which was...uh...about £120 when I bought it. The new HH one is in plastic, more detailed, and about half the price. GSCUprising
This, for example, is an FW Malcador Infernus painted to what GW call 'battle ready.' The new HH plastic one is more detailed, which is great as it's far more within the range of newer players. It doesn't take away from the fact it's all bark and no bite! But, fun to drop onto the table as it's a massive Distraction Carnifex, haha. Would be nice if that flamer was a little more effective. Edited December 12 by GSCUprising Edit: Fat fingers get me, yet again.
