Newbie/Returning to the Hobby!

Hey folks. I joined up to post a silly little fanfic I've written elsewhere where I mix and match legions and Primarchs to come up with 18 new ones. It can be found here

 

 

I originally played from about 10 until 20 (which was the late 90s to the late 00s) my first ever game was 2nd edition but my first ever purchase for myself was the 3rd Edition starter set. 

I returned to the hobby back in early 2024, buying the 10th ed starter set and then later Kill Team. I mostly play the latter as I enjoy kitbashing and converting teams as little self contained projects. Plus Kill Teams scale is about my husbands level of game and time commitment so I mostly play that with him. I'm also about to start an Inquisitor 28 campaign using the Planet28 rules. 

My main 40k army (which is only about 1k points) is the Hounds of Sol, a Space Wolf themed marine army who are also represented in my selection of Kill Teams. The Kill Team I use the most is either Angels of Death or Astra Militarum (Death Korps) 

Outside of 40k I do a lot of creative writing and I announce and officiate roller derby. I live in SW England with my husband and our 2 pet rats.
