"Out of the Red" event

This topic came out of a conversion with N1SB as we both like to talk about economics and financial documents, and a saying I been hearing for years "You know, if I had bought GW shares instead of their miniatures,".  I was wondering if there would be a interest in an event next year where instead of buying the new shiny models (which sits on a shelf for years), we paint what we have, and be responsible with our hobby funding and lives.  The rules would be simple: 

• State a monthly budget for the hobby
• Stick to the budget
• Post the models you buy (or have on hand already) and by the end of year post the work you completed.  
• Any left over budget money, invest or save (does not have to be GW stock)

 

Just a laid back event where member coach and keep each other accountable not only for our hobby but in personal life (I have seen so many people go into debt / bankruptcy for this hobby).  So, is there any interested?
