sitnam
Looks like the split the categories this year Personally, I went with: -40k: Sanctifier kill team -AoS: Droggz da Sunchompa -Other: Miao Ying I don't expect any of mine to win, it's likely gonna be Fulgrim, even though I think he is one of the weaker Daemon Primarchs ZeroWolf, Tymell and Lord Marshal 2 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387193-model-of-the-year-2025/ Share on other sites
de Selby
40k-death guard lord shaped like an asterisk * AoS-sunsteala wheelas-both the design and paintscheme for this release was brilliant Other-saturnine praetor. I've seen so many great painted versions of this mini this year. They actually provided pictures of the minis this year, good job gw. ZeroWolf
I've gone: 40k: Logan Grimar (however, i too believe that this is just going to go to Fulgrim) AoS: Urkhan the Dark Warden (sometimes simple is best) The others: Miao Ying (was torn on this as there was a lot of nice ones here) I think GW need to filter these entrants though, I mean, does the tomb world scenery really deserve best miniature? Why haven't they just made a terrain category? mel_danes 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387193-model-of-the-year-2025/#findComment-6144767 Share on other sites

Aramis K
Split categories and pictures! All our Christmases at once. There are a few duel kits in there listed as each miniature which seems an odd way to do it. For my votes, I was thinking Warp Spider Phoenix Lord Lhykhis or the Infinity's Lament piece. For AoS it's the Blades of the Hollow King. For Other it's tough between Cathay and Necromunda - I think the Ministorum Delegation takes it for me. Still, I'm sure the results will be Snake, Dracoth, Dragon Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387193-model-of-the-year-2025/#findComment-6144780 Share on other sites

No Foes Remain
40k: Lhykhis, but Fulgrim will win. AoS: The Soulblight lord on a horse. All of the other stuff: Cathay Miao Ying. I really think they need to split the catagories up a bit, have 40k, AoS, ToW, 30k and specialist games. 30k and Munda don't really stand a chance against Cathay, though that said they could do with splitting up the others in general like they do with the Golden Daemon. Mogger351
I hadn't realised what a dull/dry year sigmar has had. Especially as even the 40k side seemed light. Evil Eye
For me it was... 40K: Lord of Poxes. Always thought he was a really nice miniature. AOS: Gitmob Shaman on chariot. Love me some gobbies. Everything Else: Malcador Infernus. It's my favourite 40K tank turned into a giant flamethrower, I literally can't vote for anything else! Flaherty
I'm constantly amazed by the quality and quantity of stuff they release. Especially this year with the photos as reminders. 90-odd 40K listings, ~60 for AoS, and just shy of 100 for the rest. If you break up units, that's well more than a model per day! So much great stuff and such a wide variety! sitnam 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387193-model-of-the-year-2025/#findComment-6144814 Share on other sites
Cryptix
My choices were the Lord of Poxes, Urkhan the Dark Warden, and the Saturnine Praetor - but was definitely some difficulty in choosing, especially with the space wolves and necromunda models in play. Marshal Loss
Fulgrim for 40k, he's superb. For the 'other category', I was a little on the fence but ended up going for the Saturnine Praetor. It's a great kit with a ton of options, everything I like out of a character. Tymell
I'm glad we have some kind of category split now, but I still wish they'd split the "best of the rest" up more, there are too many Horus Heresy, Necromunda and Blood Bowl models I just adore, and now we've got Old World in there too! Anywho, for me: 40k: Lhykhis (I don't dislike Fulgrim's model, but it so pales in comparison to his 30k one) AoS: Prince Vhordrai on his zombie dragon, mostly for the mount The Rest: Iron Warriors Warsmith (probably the most agonising choice for me, Miao Ying would've taken it if I weren't such a sucker for absurdly over-sized HAMMERS) Edited 1 hour ago by Tymell Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387193-model-of-the-year-2025/#findComment-6144844 Share on other sites
