Great cover on Aestred, but sadly it’s by Ware. I just can’t stand her writing, it puts me to sleep and it’s forgettable. I’ve read most of her books and can’t recall a single one. It’s like Collins: competent authors, but their writing doesn’t work for me at all.

I’d think there are other authors besides Ware who could tackle SoB for a chance...

Looking forward to Aestred novel. She’s one of my favourite of the most recent SoB releases so it will be nice to see her getting fleshed out more. And I am a fan of Ware so I’m quite happy.

 

I’m guessing from the cover design style it’s another entry in the character novels series. Of course every time I think we’re done and I have a full collection of the character novels LEs they come out with another one!

GW hasn't found a GOATed writer for sisters yet, which is a shame. I thought they'd bring more after the short story eBook week

 

Hyped about Solomon Akurra' second story tho. The man is positively devious. Certified son of the hydra, thought not not quite on the same level as Quetzel Carthach

Excited about the new Alpha Legion stuff,  I know not everyone loves Brooks' Alpha Legion but I am a fan 

 

It does make me wonder about Black Library celebration. Is there one? We are in Februrary next week, so I would've thought they would hold book reveals until then

I would say I won't stand for Rachel Harrison erasure, but clearly Black Library itself does since she wrote 2 fantastic books and then turned into sand or something.
