New detachment

The laud hailer was to give 12" range so he could give an order, any order, to two of the heavy weapons squads. I actually didnt get the game in as my opponent ended up in a car accident the day before and obviously had other things to worry about, although discord didnt tell me until I had already driven 40 minutes and pulled out the army and set up the board. I hate discord. 

 

Prior I ended up ditching the commissar and replacing him with a castellan with laud hailer. To get the points I dropped a hellhound and brought in an artillery piece and had enough points to squeeze in a cyclops demolition vehicle. 

 

I did see some new guy using Mordian Glory's bang bus meme list with the 12 ogryn in a Stormlord vs a competitive BA player who drove me nuts with his constant narration of every little thing "Im developing my repulsor" --- like dude, you moved it 6" to get LOS, you didnt develop anything. So I stuck around for a couple turns and got bored and left. The bus player was far too timid for it to be an interesting game even with the bus who the BA player just ignored. I did pick up a box of the new cadian command squad to convert into Praetorians and they are the first of the new style cadians I have picked up for the army and look pretty cool with the proper pith helmet heads. I am not redoing the entire army, I just needed a third proper command squad.

Bummer the game didn't go off but hopefully your opponent is okay.

 

Castellan switched out for that Command Squad is a good call, can drop the LH enhancement at that point since the Master Vox doubles that range on its own, and the CS can issue good orders to the artillery and stuff. Otherwise the list was solid.
