Are my eyes deceiving me or did they (somewhat) buff TSons by letting our Demons get Cabal of Sorcerers?

ETA:

Also new Assault Terminators datasheet.

Not entirely sure what's changed on it tho besides the model image.

Just checked the points, multiple units down in price as well (except Kairos and Lord of Change, which are up to match Daemons army).

As far as I could see Thunderhammer are now hitting on 3+ instead of 4+ and LCs got their attacks upped to 6 from 5.

I see.

Wonder if the Deathwatch Terminators got their Thunder Hammers and Lightning Claws updated to match, or if that's something they need to wait until next year for...

Funny how they list lots of factions, even those that were unchanged, but Agents of the Imperium doesn’t even get a mention. Game experience for them is in a healthy place?

I just don't think GW wants to bother keeping up the act of pretending they're a 'real' faction.

Imo Agents of the Imperiun should be split across existing factions.

Order Malleus Inquisitors and themed units should be in the Grey Knights faction, as they were back in 5th.

Order Hereticus agents and Inquisitors should be with the Sisters of Battle.

Ordo Xenos should be part of the Deathwatch army.

And the other Assasins and other agents should just be an option for all Imperium armies.

Exactly! then it would only take up a few pages and would be easier to provide updates:yes:

Wonder f they will get a 11th dex or a pdf, like daemons:ermm:

Pdf would prob be better:yes:

It might actually get an update:laugh:

Not too happy about the BT nerfs but then again some marine units got buffs so probably evens out for me.

Would have loved to see Crusaders get a points drop.

Got to try out new stuff!

Better assault terminators is cool. Just a shame their new ability is still bad. Its better than before though.

That teeny points adjustment for Knights lets me run a 6th Armiger instead of allying in an Assassin.

I'm not sure it's the tactical choice per se, but I'll be happy to run a one-Codex army.

The Agents situation and lack of updates is very frustrating. GW have never said that they consider them to be an "ally-in" only army that would only be updated in the context of other armies. In fact they even separated out the points for IA and allied units so that they could be treated differently in different contexts. So we're left guessing as to why they aren't even trying to balance them.

Influencers like goonhammer or Art of War which gloss over the lack of updates, and just shrug and say they're not a real faction are extremely annoying too. The IA codex is on sale for the same price as any other factions, and it deserves the same level of support. Influencers just waving it off only encourages GW to continue on with the lack of support, if there was similar levels of noise as say the Deathwatch removal, GW might actually do something about it.

I was hoping the Death Company jump captain would get a sneaky update to include the hammer and shield, given the new jump captain model. Ah well.

The Deathwatch Terminators didn't get the Assault Terminator stat updates, so I feel this may have been rushed a little.
