Either the subscription should cover everything or the app should be free and you use the digital codes from codices. I am not interested in paying twice.

I don't think it's too outrageous to have the subscription be for something, but it currently doesn't feel good that I'm allowed to build as many lists as I want... As long as I have also shelled out for the codex. If it was just a $10 purchase and I got those digital assets I would probably do so for the three xenos factions I fight routinely. I don't need every rule, so I'm willing to compromise a bit on what's offered but currently the value isnt there on the app side.

Yup, this here. Or even a small uptick in the subscription would be ok. Nothing crazy, just a little bump in annual cost maybe the equivalent to 1 codex to unlock the lot would be fine. They'd still likely not be losing money giving the cost of printing and shipping + warehouse space.

Its crazy how the subscription gets actively worse in value as more codexes get released, and you lose access to the datasheets in the app. Another very frustrating design decision from GW.

Hey, so someone mentioned that IA had a changed missed out.

Have we noticed any other changes that weren't reported (or initially weren't but now have been)?

The Culexus change is a continuance from prior balance dataslates unfortunately, not a new change. It also doesn't seem that any changes were made as upload dates are still showing 10 December as the most recent. I have a soft spot for Agents, so personally I'm on the side of wishing they got something concrete to help them stand alone better.

 

On the whole, I feel very whelmed. There's a good amount of internal balance disparities across multiple factions I wish had been addressed. Several of the detachments looking like straight up 1+ versions of codex detachments or having buffs that feel more in line with datasheet changes is also a bit disappointing, but I can understand the possibility that GW doesn't want to make too many changes to printed material. I hope that frater who got buffs to their armies or detachments they like the look of enjoy them though!
