Combat Patrol? I hardly know her! Or something.

As a Made to Order product, the Sisters of Battle Army Set will only be available until 8am on Monday, 12th of January, 2026, and will take up to 180 days to produce and ship.

It's basically the old combat patrol without the Rhino.

I've seen these going for quite a bit and have been after a set for my 4th edition army for a while now but just after Christmas and mid month is going to completely rule that one out for sure.

If it was cheap I'd be willing to buy but I can't see it going for less than a combat patrol at least and the production time is a bit insane for such a kit.

I think this is a case of we still have the molds what can we do with them to milk more money out of people other than throw them in another one and done board game?

I like that set, got the Combat Patrol when I got back into 40k. But it's a bit disappointing, that it's just that and none of the old metals.

Any idea what the price will be?

knowing GW 160dollaroos at this point...

So is this worth it or not? I have yet to start a Sister of Battle army but need to, I will then have every Imperial faction.

As long as you bet that fielding 3 arco flagellants and 5 Repentias is a good math, why not... But I wonder if this will last and if, within a couple of iterations of the Munitorum Field Manual or end of Edition cycle, this state of fact will remain: would unit sizes be changed and this odd cocktail be obsolete?

As a true believer, I would therefore say that (from unit split PoV) this offer is a trap or a too risky business.
Price wise, if it falls around 130 USD, then it is a tie with buying the Seraphim + Sisters boxes separately. And up to 160USD, it might be worth it if you consider the Penitent Engine. All other units will be extras and for "free"...  Providing they receive durability in time through maintenance of current rules and (minimum unit sizes as per my previous point.

But if you have 170 bucks to spent, I would go instead for normal range and CP box.

Yet it is just an opinion...

I had 2 of these when they were released for the new Codex. The Battle Sister squad is found wanting, with the flamer/ Storm Bolter loadout. The Canoness is ok, and that is my loadout I prefer for my army. Arco Flagellants 3 seemed odd but now I have 12 after buying the multiple piece kit and an extra model. Penitent Engine is nice, since I had 2 of these the multipiece ones could be built as mortifiers. The Seraphim...no specials outside of the Superior.

IMHO I would get the multipiece kits over this kit.
