Yesterday, looking son pictures, I found this thread in Reddit about how the people feelt about Horus Heresy 3.0 launch.

Look like we'll made, with solid data but still not sure about how representative this survey sample is. It think is pretty solid and worth of think about it,anyway.

What are your thoughts and opinions about this subject?

It's interesting information. Whilst the sample size is rather small and potentially in being unvetted it is essentially open to groups of people from a particular slice of demographic, the counter to that is there isn't a positive version of this.

Even the fans of the game aren't shouting about it being superior or eclipsing 2.0 HH, on various platforms.

Sales are the main tell, which GW doesn't like to reveal of course. But indirectly what we could do determine is their ongoing support.

If many things are added back in after being removed at launch, it is a tell that GW is attempting to address the dissatisfaction directly.

If GW leave the system to die and don't invest in it... it's difficult to tell however. They could be just sitting on their laurels and being complacent with success, or they could be deciding to not throw good money after bad.

Generally it is considered the latter since creative industry business doesn't operate with growth, particularly GW, without investment.

While I definitely have concerns about 3.0's impact on game's health, this doesn't tell us much. It's a survey with a small sample size from a single social media site very shortly after a major controversy. The same chap did another survey two months later with a larger sample size that showed sentiment towards 3.0 improving (but also didn't use any kind of analytical rigour). Both of these surveys give you about as much information as you'd get reading through a thread on Reddit.

I don't think this adds anything to discuss on top of your other 'has 3.0 failed' thread.
