He's giving me more Mr. Frog vibes.

"Hello, but I'm not sorry!"

Now my only hope is he'll have the same melee capabilities as Mr. Frog so he can win the UFC.

It is brilliant. It's the first 'wow' sculpt I've seen for a while for 40k - Lhykhis and the EC range notwithstanding but the latter has a personal bias attached.

Simply watching as an agent of chaos, if the Custodes minis are of the "have always been there" variety, the fallout will be fun to watch

These men are my bodyguards, their lives forfeit to the guarantee of my physical safety. Of their loyalty to me there shall be no question nor doubt. I, and I alone, shall have the authority to stand in judgement over them. No other commander shall they have in battle nor in service. None shall bar them from me and none shall hamper or stall their mission. So it is decreed!"

Personally, I don't care. These are genetically engineered super soldiers which rather renders moot the male/female differences in strength, speed and so on in the real world. If they're equal (from that engineering) then why force the sex differentiation? I just wish it hadn't been so clumsy and the Sisters of Silence had been given more of a (although someone would then complain their not speaking is mysognistic) model range as I find them a more interesting faction.

We could have had a sort of air skiff, new sleeker jet bikes, the capture squads with the psychic assassin headgear type, some alsmost harlequin-esque poses.

It'd be nice to see Landspeeders and bikes in the Heresy Preview, maybe an 'outrider' box but I'd put money on more Saturnine larks as they're the poster boys.

Perfection. I'll be broke over the other Corsairs, but if I could put him in a WE list it'd be auto-buy for me.

Wait so he isn't the Berserker Surgeon we've been wanting?

Berserker Surgeon: When the 'Ambulance' chases you.

I'm mostly just excited to see the eldar corsairs, I've been tempted by them for years and I've always liked yriel, I do have some eldar stuff unbuilt and maybe this will be the thing to nudge me to do something with it!

outside of that, the new chaos apothecary is cool, he's very similar to the primaris one pose wise, I like the design for the mechadendrites, his face is a little goofy, but that seems like it may be an intentional theme. The detailing is nice on him too, i find it interesting that the red corsairs look to still be going for the chaos design asthetic, i feel it would have been cooler to veer a bit closer to loyalist styling on them (stuff like backpacks in particular), but still nice. Armour design overall just looks like the legionnaire set which isn't a bad thing. Interested to see where these sit size wise.

Nice model, one of the better ones of late to my eyes (bleary and old as they are ).  I prefer my renegades to be less chaosy than those completely fallen as well but will wait for the full Red Corsairs release before complaining too much.  In my mind a random renegade warband would have everything from a slightly disheveled, new recruit recently fled his Chapter to fully fallen to Chaos nut jobs and every shade in between.  Bring on the reveal!

If he was a real son of Olympia he should be wearing this.

That's my plan, too.

I already have two,one power armored but this one is perfect for the role.

I really like this detail. The one Red Corsair does not seem like he is quite ready to give up his gene-seed, but Garreon is going to take it anyway. Exactly what you would expect from a renegade apothecary!

"COMMERCE :verymad:"

I honestly wondered how many people would get this joke.

Anyway, maybe were getting all the old forge world characters back from the badab war?

Probably not, but updated rules for the two Minotaur dudes and Tyberos would be pretty neat.

Pics from the Warhammer Official Instagram... feed? Reel? Uh... whatever the moving pictures are called.

Some fun little bits here to keep us guessing – as to what's real, what's a red herring, and what the Instagram moving thingy is called, you can decide for yourself.

Maybe the corsair psyker is called a starseer

( wouldn't be the first time GW ignores things FW, and subsequently BL did in favor of their own tings.. we saw it with kroot, and even the corsair kill team )

Last pic...Bloodbowl star players or less likely Starweavers or outside bet: Elton John glasses, Elton wrote Rocket Man, new Deathstrike Launcher

Rumors are high elves for bloodbowl, but the woman with elf ears doesn't look particularly high :p

My guess for AoS would have been, based on the color rumor engines last year; Fyreslayers spearhead, Sons of behemat and maybe OBR ( based on the bones ) However, the rumor is they show : OBR, Lumineth and Tzeentch... all 3 could be represented by that plate if the last one is tzaangor!!

While that is mostly off topic, the rumors for tzeentch includes a huge silver tower (ish?) Terrain piece, wich, even if it doesn't get rules in 40k, still has plenty of application for 40k.

Secondly, going for 3 army releases for AoS is also an indication that February won't have a preview and this preview covers us until march, maybe even adepticon.

And even though there are still Monday reveals I think this makes it very likely that for 40k it won't just be 1 release or even just half of a release they preview, as by adepticon, I think we should be nearing the last campaign book preview. While the last book often shares the preview show with the first new edition teases, after the latter is unveiled the hype goes towards that.

Between AoS tzeentch silver tower ( and possible tzaangor character ? ) and HH custodes it's also an interesting thing to see what and how they threat these 2 biggest 40k crossover armies; thousand sons and custodes.

Apparently we'll see Arkhan on chariot for OBR which is the bones. I remember the first time Arkhan was on a chariot so here's hoping it's a suitably epic centrepiece.

For 40k I'd love to see the defiler. However, assuming that'll be later.
