Combat_Vet
Greets, After several years I am trying to get back into the hobby that I loved for decades. First project is a brush holder/water pot for my hobby desk! I will continue to post WiP's here and I am always open to critiques, criticism, and pointers. Firedrake Cordova
That looks great. The weathering on the templar's cross is really nicely done Is it a merchandise thing, or a 3D print? (I think I'm seeing print lines, although it could be moire from the camera...) calgar101 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387404-trying-to-get-back-to-the-hobby/#findComment-6151138 Share on other sites
calgar101
Wow thats a fantastic brush holder/water pot. That is a beautiful paint job, I wouldn't want to use that for your intended use. Lathe Biosas
I'd be afraid to use it. I'd just look at it for hours... instead of painting. Combat_Vet
I had to GS his chest as it was a massive hole to begin with. I never claimed to be skilled. Working on it makes me concerned that I used too many colors for the wiring. I want them to be different, but not overly busy if that makes sense. That's a nice hommage you've done here and quite faithful to the artwork Firedrake Cordova and W.A.Rorie 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387404-trying-to-get-back-to-the-hobby/#findComment-6159320 Share on other sites

VanguardVeteran
The GS and conversion work are very convincing, and a close match to the artwork. I wonder the in-universe reason for his peculiar positioning on the dreadnought chassis? Now that its painted there is no confusion and I think he looks great - a successful implementation of the artwork and really neat idea.
