Greets,

After several years I am trying to get back into the hobby that I loved for decades. First project is a brush holder/water pot for my hobby desk!

I will continue to post WiP's here and I am always open to critiques, criticism, and pointers.

That looks great. The weathering on the templar's cross is really nicely done

Is it a merchandise thing, or a 3D print? (I think I'm seeing print lines, although it could be moire from the camera...)

It was a free print my stepson printed out for me.

I had to GS his chest as it was a massive hole to begin with. I never claimed to be skilled.

Working on it makes me concerned that I used too many colors for the wiring. I want them to be different, but not overly busy if that makes sense.

Inspiration (sorry I do not know the original artist)

don't sell yourself short, your sculpting is quite nice, and once painted, it's even better. That's a nice hommage you've done here and quite faithful to the artwork

And I didn't mean to imply that you weren't - I think he's great, its just that the original picture  and my mind didn't connect to perceive what it was you were doing.  Now that its painted there is no confusion and I think he looks great - a successful implementation of the artwork and really neat idea.

I appreciate that. I was trying to joke along, so I hope I didn't seem offended. Tone is often lost in text.
