sitnam
I love Chaos Renegades. Red Corsairs, Bleak Brotherhood, Warp Ghosts, Scourged, etc. I was thinking of running a painting competition here on the B&C were participants either pick or randomly receive one of these warbands to paint. I'm curious if there would be any interest in trying something like this. I have my own DIY warband, but the temptation to paint some of these has been strong. I'm not sure when I would do this, but it'd be a pretty short comp, maybe a month? I'm thinking of this list of chapters: Tallarn Commander, gaurdian31, Xin Ceithan and 1 other 3 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387418-gauging-interest-in-chaos-painting-comp/ Share on other sites
gaurdian31
I'd be interested but I am bit of a slower painter. What would be the requirements? Pretty much just one or more renegade marine, either chosen or randomly generated, in a set time limit. Maybe have rewards for both the most variety (a participant who paints the most warbands) and most cohesive (a participant with the most points in a single warband), alongside the traditional categories for painting, converting, etc I'm also thinking of just making it a single model contest. Helps it go by quick, low stress, etc. Edited January 14 by sitnam gaurdian31, Tallarn Commander and Xin Ceithan 1 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387418-gauging-interest-in-chaos-painting-comp/#findComment-6151433 Share on other sites

Dr_Ruminahui
Not something I think I would participate in (as I'm not currently interested in painting stuff that isn't for one of my armies), but I'm happy to help setting polls and such. Personally, I think in setting the focus, the smaller the better - so a single model. That said, if a given user submits multiple models (either in the form of a squad or multiple different forces), there is no reason you can't recognize that. gaurdian31 and sitnam 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387418-gauging-interest-in-chaos-painting-comp/#findComment-6151539 Share on other sites
