All looks great! I will get this box. Not sure about the Starfang but the Vyper is ace. I guess you could build a Starfang with the turret mounted facing forwards like a Vyper.

these make me legitimately hype. I've toyed with the idea of corsairs ever since the kill team came out. And now it feels like theres enough there to make a fun themed force

The new Vyper looks genuinely great. My only complaint is I would have preferred the open turret of the old one- at present it looks a bit too much like a mini-Falcon and not enough like a big jetbike. Easy conversion though and very small potatoes.

Starfang is a cool idea but the backwards turret (let alone in a ruleset with no vehicle weapon arc rules) is...well, it's a choice alright.

As a slight aside I'm glad I got the old one when I did as, ancient though it may be, I do like it.

I really like these guys but the highlight for me has to be the pskyer. I love the echoes of the classic Farseer mini I will be getting him for sure!

I’ve been waiting for new corsairs to decide if I wanted to start an army and I’m pretty happy with this.

banked a warhammer Christmas present from my fiance and I think that big box is what I’ll be cashing it in on.

tbh though I would have preferred Corsair themed wraithguard over the jump pack guys

I think I’d just switch the gun around and say he’s aim via cameras/sensors.

i love how sleek and streamlined the starfang is compared to the vyper.

Also thank all powerful atheismo Yriel has a helmet option.

Love the helmets for Aeldari models so we don't have to look at their disgusting pointy ears.

The article implies you can build both variants with the turret facing either way. I agree that the backwards facing turret isn't the coolest...so it's nice you have options.

This stuff looks fantastic, I really really like the corsairs kit we've already got so more is of course welcome

Maybe it is nostalgia talking but I felt outright jumpscared by the Starfang, like, where's the Vyper, why is this misassembled Vyper on my screen?

But then the other version showed up and all was right with the world

think the idea is the backwards turret is supposed to be it retracted/"at rest" rather than an actual different configuration, if that makes any sense. Still a bit odd.

Absolutely crushed it. New Vyper is great, love that Yriel has the new style Corsair armour but still looks like himself, love the Skyreavers and I adore the callback to the RT era Farseer on Kharseth.

100% shut up and take my money.

From the WarCom article:

You’re seeing right – the Vyper finally has a fresh new kit, and it’s a stunner. The swooping curves bring it much more in line with the current Aeldari aircraft and jetbike designs, with a completely redesigned gun pod that can be positioned raised to fire directly forwards or nestled down facing backwards to preserve the vehicle’s sleek silhouette.

This reads to me like the backwards facing turret is just the normal forward turret in "retracted for speed" mode and both can be built in either configuration.

My thoughts exactly! :D

Loving that callback

I've had some half-assembled Vypers sitting in my pile of shame from a few years. I... think they are getting decommissioned. I love the new Sleek Vyper. The Corsair version really confused me until I realised it was just an alternate weapon loadout and that it was in travel mode. I think that's a really cool feature. I got to speak to Jes at Games Day a few years ago, maybe 2012-13 ish time and spoke to him about the Vyper and how cool it would be to get an updated version. I'm glad he finally got the chance to bring it in line with the sleeker Drukhari (and later Harlequin) skimmers. I am sure to grab a squadron of these.

I also like all of the rest of the Corsair models, as Karhedron said, that psyker having a helm with a strong call back to the original metal Farseer was a great touch. I am tempted to slide sideways into some Corsairs to back up my Ulthwé force. I'll have to nag GW to give us Wasp walker squadrons to back up my War Walkers. :teehee:

The biggest problem for me... I'd love to paint a unique paint scheme for some Corsairs, but I wouldn't want to paint Yriel completely differently to his canon colour scheme. I guess I'll just have to get over that hurdle. lol
