If you remove the leader models from a Krieg heavy weapons squad, you can fit 2, of those, 6 flamers, in a Taurox, is it worth it? With the mechanised detatchment they should be very good hitters, but then they would probably die to shooting, being so close to the enemy.

How does overwatch work these days? Can you only put it on one of the units if charged?

I think Krieg Flamers in a transport is 10/10, but personally I’d do a Chimera with 2 Heavy Flamers and only take one unit of flamers inside. Good overwatch potential and good for clearing hordes/objectives, and for only 180. I run two units like this!

Plus if the flamers jump out you can fire all three, and if they die they’ve got a chance at still shooting. Not a massive damage dealer but incredibly frustrating to play into.

Yes, the guy without a flamer is probably good too keep.. What about the other 5 slots in that transport? Engineers? Would the transport get their scout ability? Not sure how that works. Maybe five Tempestus scions instead? They have deep strike now, so not sure its the best option.. Thoughts?

Why Chimera instead of Taurox? That extra d6" movement seems good.

It is really funny to put the krieg heavy flamers and engineers in a taurox, shoot forward with move move move and advance, jump out flame, remote mine and then wait to overwatch and shoot on death. Potentially 3 rounds of shooting by the end of battle round 1.
