i just hope we can move on from constant L-shaped ruins that litter every gameboard and seemingly GW´s store too...

Atleast for the price, give use proper buildings instead of 1/3rd of one

My local GW has no real L shaped terrain. Just some good builds using what kits were given.  Mostly from the KT boxes, as they tend to crack one for table use.

I do think that the L shape terrain will stay for tournament play, but nothing is stopping you from using other shape terrain outside of the collection at your place of gaming.

The issue is the rules strongly promoting use of L shaped ruins and the general default of the community write large to "play to a standard".

I get that, but at the same time, the only way to change that is to change it. People really need to break free of this idea that it's impossible to deviate from the "standard" way of playing, because that idea is literally the only thing making it impossible.

When buying Workshop terrain you create L shapes because there's simply too few whole wall sections in the box. It's oftime tricky to create square/rectangular shapes without supports.

This is where 3d printers come in in creating really big terrain pieces.

11th sounds interesting, but I've barely had any time to game with 10th.

That’s the thing, that’s why we’re going back to the garage. The events and local stores seem to all be fixated on “tournament“ Gaming with specific L-shaped ruins and set up, etc.

My last garage battle was fought over a desert with hills and rocks. It was great.

We're doing a combined 40k/BFG campaign right now, all on 4x6 tables and with varying terrain based on the 500 Worlds rules and mixed with Crusade rules. It's way fun so far.

Taken from Reddit. Let the AI vs Real debate begin again! The scrawiness of the arm on the second image and the flag folding into his back has me leaning on the former though.

Hmm, I don't think its A.I. I find it interesting that the bottom of the box is ripped off but ultimately I think that whether this is a GW, or 3rd party, model, it's a real item at the very least. I reckon the scrawny arm maybe more perspective.

Just to add, this might not be 11th edition related and more to do with the rumoured Armageddon book we're to get first (honestly can't remember the order of Ork rumours we're getting other than some will precede 11th)

My battleforce box from christmas doesn't but the aeldaari corsairs box does have french pretty prominently, so maybe it's a recent change.

I don't know if it speaks to that warboss being fake or real but it's not exactly an exciting thing to fake anyway.

All the details are seemingly correct and plausible, BUT the top latch seems to be quite a bit longer than the box is thick, which means this one wouldn't close properly. Also convenitent non-descript tile flooring makes it seem like it was snapped while on the floor

I'm personally leaning to this being Slop, but it would certainly be the best one so far.

Do GW boxes normally have both French and English getting equal billing on the side of the box there, with Boss De Guerre right there under Warboss?

I have a box of assault terminators with the same thing going on, multi language on the box, no white box around the faction name.

Looks right to me.

edit: just looked at the back view again and I see what you mean.

Leaning AI, Warboss on the first image doesn't seem to have eyes or nose.

The melee arm is off, especially if you camprebit to the gun arm.

Bosspole on second image is also off.

Axe doesn't fit current Ork designs.

Squig is off, thanks to that tail.

And it might be just me, but Tactical Rocks looks different between pictures.

While seperate from that leak ( wether real or not ) one thing I'm wondering is we have the usual thing, starterbox versus set with each side getting significant seperate waves and their codexes shortly after.

This will Obviously be Spacemarines & Orks .. but with the marine side painted as Blood angels, wouldn't it make sense to also have their supplement immediately, and if so, what would they even get ( assuming supplements get the minimum release.. they didnt in 9th )

In AoS both sides also get more centrepiece named characters to spearhead those releases, in 40k only the enemy side does ( mortarion, silentking/voiddragon ) and I wonder if blood angels could fulfill that side of the marine release this time, but the most logical ones have already been released.

Diorama style character corbulo ?  Mephiston evolving in a way only i as a non spacemarine player likes ( there seemed to be allusions to it but can't remember what/where ) ? Second Sanguinor in a short time, but dialed up ? Or possibly a character unit like Titus and Huron.

Also skull on the belt in first Warboss image looks "stretched".

Besides that, the last two suspicious images were fakes, so high chance that this one is too.

They looked much faker though.
