Eldar Corsair kitbash options

So I’m starting to look into kitbashes for the corsairs, and first thought is idoneth deepkin, and obviously dark eldar.

 

any specific ideas while I peruse the GW website?

 

i kinda want to use the dude with the wave cloak as a yriel kitbash, just don’t like the wave cloak.

A classic covering article in WD had a guy using puff sleeved arm from the high elves archer kit for his Corsairs.

I have used a mix of Aeldarii, Drukharii and some left Corsair bits.

Scourge bits (Special weapons especially) were a benediction, and the mixed aeldari bodies with Drukharii heads is generally a good balance. Any added spiky bits such as barbed lances or so gives an additionnal spooky effect that tell us that these space elves are not good guies.

 

Yet, I might recommand waiting before commitning too much kitbash: rules will define what you might need.

 

Otherwise the idea of Idoneth as a source for parts is also a good way to go. Daughters of Khaine can also be a good source, especially ssiters of slaughters or shadowstalkers
