Teetengee
I'm trying to decide how to chaos up some rhinos. Specifically, I want them to really capture the religious aspect of chaos, particularly word bearers/a reflection of the imperial cult type vibe. I was wondering what kits would have the most (spare) bits for adding that energy to a rhino or too. Anything with candles, cherubs, or instruments is a definite contender. I'd like to stick to gw plastic if possible. Volgon
Unfortunately I don't think there is really any plastic kit that has a lot of extra bits that you specifically mentioned. The closest would probably be the Flagellants kit from the Empire of Man range in Old World. It doesn't have candles/cherubs/instruments but it does have a fair amount of zealous iconography. It's an old kit but still in production thanks to TOW and comes with lots of books, parchments, chains, and flaming torches. For the rest of your wants, maybe have a look through the Sisters of Battle range? Some of the squad kits have Cherubs. I've looked through a few kit sprues on the GW store and none of them seem to have candles separate from the model so I think you're out of luck there. I did a quick search on Bitzbox (not comprehensive but they have a fair amount of kits) and the only plastic options that came up were from the Black Templars Upgrade Sprue and the Dwarf Miners kit (also from Old World). Maybe you can find some Noise Marines backpacks and repurpose the grills on them for instruments. I know you said you wanted to stick to GW plastic but 3D printing can definitely get you all the candles you need for pretty cheap. Greenstuffworld sells packs of 70 candles for super cheap, and they sell Purity Seals (both loyalist and Chaos versions) as well. If you want to look for other avenues, Etsy is a good option. Teetengee
GS World sounds promising as well, mostly just trying to avoid other full kit manufacturers (largely just because it helps me keep focused on my projects) Volgon 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387498-word-bearerschaos-undivided-vehicle-upgrade-bits/#findComment-6154107 Share on other sites
