I see this person isn't aware that the Hrud are just 40k's Skaven.

Also, if anyone needed proof this isn't real, the bases are melding with eachother.

The real tell that it's fake is that GW's painting team doesn't do that good a job.

Hrud don't look like skaven, and while presumably the old art was a skaven called a hrud, it could also have been a skaven who specialized in hunting hrud. Hrud are spindly tapeworm arm type fellas these days.

God I want Hrud to become a real faction. Hrud seems like they could be galactic level threat to the Imperium, and their connection to the old ones, Eldar, orks, and necrons are interesting.

Obviously fake (to the point I wonder if the creator (who may not be the same person as the "rumourmonger") was just spitballing cool ideas rather than trying to deceive anyone) but those are very, very neat concepts and I would love some Hrud models.

I mean, sure, but given the whole point of these was (probably) to rapidly turn an idea into a visual representation of a concept as a sort of "This sort of thing" mockup rather than an actual finished art piece, I don't think it's worth getting mad about. That is exactly the sort of thing AI image gen programmes are good for IMO- rapid concept generation and idea visualizing that doesn't itself make it into a finished product.

 

Of course if it was an attempt to deceive, it's kinda laughable as it's very obvious, but hey- might give someone inspiration.
