Techmarine Red Paint?

Anyone know a good red paint for painting a techmarine. More a true red instead of the red orange?

I was going say any Blood Angel scheme, but then you said no red orange. 

Honestly, I'd still probably go the Blood Angel route, then bring it back away from Orange with some form of filter, like a thinned Contrast paint (used like a Shade), either Blood Angels or Flesh Tearers Red dependant on the final tone you'd like.

If you're willing to look at non-GW paints, you could have a look at Vallejo's Model Color range - something like Scarlet, Vermillion, Carmine Red, Flat Red, etc?

Mephiston Red, wash with Carroburg Crimson and highlight with Wild Rider Scarlet.

If I was using GW paints and doing a techmarine I'd basecoat Khorne red and then use Word bearers red with a oil/grime shade. As used on my LI cranes pictured below.

I used Chaos Red from armypainter for my techmarine. For the highlights I just incorporated some rakarth flesh into the mix to lighten it
