BrainFireBob Posted February 9 Share Posted February 9 Greetings, frater. I am finally coming around to setting up my bitter Sons of Iron with some Vindicator support. I have side doors, track conversions, etc.- but I am having trouble coming up with a good conversion for the barrel. It's just so plain. Anyone have any good suggestions for something to either replace the Vindicator barrel or go on around that fits well to spruce it up? I feel like we might be better able to give suggestions if we had a better idea of the overall look of your conversion. Dr_Ruminahui Posted February 10 Share Posted February 10 Your best bet is to look at Age of Sigmar and The Old World cannons, IMHO. Cathay cannon is more of a mantlet change, and may be too big, but is one option. Chaos dwarf cannon seems to be the opposite - a barrel swap, but maybe a bit small. The Khorne Skull cannon falls into the same boat. Skavan has a bunch of stuff if you are going for the more mad scientist/slap dash look. Here's one option. Someday I hope to make an open-topped Chaos Vindicator with Chaos Dwarf Cannon and Chaos (Marines) dwarf crew.
