Hi all,

First off, apologies to the Mods if this is in the wrong part of the Boards, I might've missed a buying/selling tab or similar when I went through the list.

Anyway, to the crux of the matter!  I occasionally sell unwanted minis on eBay, usually parts of the Pile of Shame that I'm definitely not getting around to, or foolish army ideas that went nowhere.  However, eBay seems to have changed a bunch of things since my last selling spree, such that I had to use their complicated 'Simple Delivery' system for selling boxed minis, which has a weird idea of postage costs, e.g. selling an old Shadowspear Eliminator it charged £4, when P&P was £3, but Lexicanum Varus (in his box) it charged £3.73. but it cost me of £6.  This is frustrating, as I can't control it (and therefore offer value for money), or I have to offer free P&P and mark up the cost of the mini/box to offset this, which doesn't look good when potential buyers are looking for the cheapest option.

With that in mind, does anyone know of a good alternative, which allows buying & selling of miniatures and such from our hobby, which doesn't come with uncontrollable nonsense?

I would also check if there is a warhammer buy/sell/trade group on fb for your region. I use the Quebec one fairly frequently. Much easier than just searching the marketplace, and if well moderated keeps out scammers and gougers (the quebec guys take down and even ban sellers trying to sell over GW manufacturer pricing on new kits and fomo boxes as an example, until the fomo is over a certain age , 12 months i think, or a kit is no longer on the market as opposed to simply out of stock)

are you using simple delivery to generate the label or going to the post office and paying there?

For my listings I select buyer pays postage, select the size and weight of the parcel, and it just charges the amount to the buyer. It's never cost any different amount
