Bt loadouts execrator

Hi all.

Just unboxed my execrator. Great looking mini.

I don't have the tenth ed bt rules. 

Is the two melee hand option viable?

Because it sure as hell looks rocking epic.

Will probably go with that option anyway due to rule of cool.

Like to hear your thoughts.

That's the best option imo, you trade a tiny Flamer for +3A with lethal hits, the pistol is useless compared to even more power in melee.

I just ordered one for my Black Templar collection. When he arrives I'm building him with crozius and power sword. 8 attacks with 3 of them having [Lethal Hits] is good. He still has an absolver bolt pistol he can shoot in the shooting phase. Not a bad pistol.

Also ... depending on how you like his modeling you could also build your execrator with the crozius and firing the absolver bolt pistol? And still run with him having the master-crafted power sword for the extra 3 attacks with [Lethal Hits]. After having built mine with crozius and sword in hand, I kinda wish I built him with crozius and absolver bolt pistol. Because the sword is in his left hand with it across his upper chest as if he's getting ready for a swinging slash with it. I'd rather that part be easier to paint.

Rule of cool would win here even if the rules were terrible. Luckily they aren't. Also, it gives everyone an excuse to mess with any other chaplain bodies and give them a melee weapon as well, as any chaplain model can be a execrator or (if not armed with 2 melee weapons) vice versa
