Battle Bling have released a new Titan, so I thought I'd pop up a thread to discuss. None of the following beautifully painted version are mine (more's the pity!)

Two different versions: the Aevum and Fidelis, which are distinguished by their heads and top carapace:

Size-wise it's in between a Warhound and Reaver:

Suggested rules were supplied in the newsletter – here's the Terminal:

So it has the option to operate a bit like a pocket-Reaver with a third gun, or as a specialist Knight-protector.

Scale-wise it's a 7, so between a Reaver and Dire Wolf, which are otherwise the best comparisons.

  • In terms of raw stats it's nearly identical to a Dire Wolf, with just an inch less speed with Power to Locomotors
  • The Warden's reactor is the same length as the Dire Wolf, but it has an additional shield
  • Armour-wise it's identical to a Dire Wolf
  • At 220pts for the chassis it's 10pts more without weapons
  • Like the Dire Wolf, it's an Auxiliary Titan, and has a Heavy Scout Titan rule that explains how you can use it, with a clarification that Legio Audax players can't field it.

The most obvious difference is the lack of the Stalker rule – the Warden instead has the option of a carapace-mounted weapon or the Aegis Protocol, which helps to shield friendly Knight banners by reducing the Strength of attacks against them.

  • 2 weeks later...

Mine has arrived, and been built!

I wrote a review and some building notes over on the Death of a Rubricist blog, if you'd like to see:
