The Arcus turret is much bigger than the Scorpius. It’s not the same design, except superficially. 
 

I’m not personally too bothered what they call the gun. It looks pretty much identical to a warhound’s turbo laser. It isn’t much like the volcano cannons on titans or the LI shadowsword.

Yep, it's a massive downgrade unfortunately. 

Not sure on the HH weapon rules, but the 40k and Legions Imperialis ones are night and day different.
