Lathe Biosas Posted March 21 Share Posted March 21 I am completely new to playing Custodes and pre-ordered the new box set. So I'll have 12 Custodes, 1 Dreadnought, 1 Tank, and 1 Shield Captain. The guys at the shop recommended a Blade Champion, Callidus Assassin, and some Inquisitor with a bird, whose name eludes me. I thought I'd come here for some more concrete advice. What do I need now to play a game of 40k? Lord_Ikka Posted March 27 Share Posted March 27 Blade Champion does seem to be used highly, as does Inquisitor Draxus (due to her ability to give her units a 18" Lone Op-style anti-targeting buff on a 2+). Unfortunately, I'm not a Custodes player but I believe that a common set of units is a SoS Prosecutor (bolter ones) squad that can sticky objectives and one or two Land Raiders to buff up the anti-tank options of the army.
