But will these Cadian scouts indicate a way out for Catachans? Looks like the roles are quite similar in perspective. Even if more elite with all these special and heavy weapons included.

The Cadians are superb, really characterful.  The Sniper reminds me a bit of one of the really old Catachan Snipers.

Love the Red Terror but such an own goal that these aren't catachans, really huge missed opportunity here.

You're absolutely right, the WarCom article states they are standalone releases. 

 

It would be good if the dossier got a standalone release - do they do that? I've not been keeping track and only the Core Rules are available to buy on the website.

They haven't been selling dossiers seperately for a while now, rules do go up on the app though.

 

This dossier looks like it will be sold seperately though, maybe as a test to see just how much interest there is in joint ops content.

I was really hoping for an update of the classic 3rd Editon Storm Trooper minis 

 

However, I am super happy about this:

 

For me the best thing about current Kill Team is the solo/co-op play aspect (honestly, can’t recommend highly enough), and have often thought how neat it would be to add ‘boss encounters’ - I welcome this supplement greatly

To be months is the only one of the previews I'm actually interested in.

The Red Terror was a great concept that was (in my opinion) poorly executed at the time but this one is great.

Plus finally being able to get a new plastic zoat is good news. I missed out last time which I was very sad about.

The Red Terror looks great, really like what they did with him. Mostly. I do wish the pose was a tiny bit more restrained, and I do not care for the chunks of rubble stuck to his talon, like, at all. I may be biased though as really what I wanted was a straight enplastification of the original art from the 3rd edition Codex, and the actual creature design IS really nice.

You saying that - I have dreamed and hoped for some time - for a model of a Catachan Devil.

 

A Jungle fighters Vs Catachan Devil Kill team box would fit perfectly with the rule set and theme of this 'Squad vs Monster' release.

This box is a must buy for me and I'm quite happy to see the models from the Blackstone Fortress expansions return because I missed them the first time around. The Red Terror looks brilliant I just don't like the base its on, the statue being smashed in the air just doesn't work for me. I hope the statue bits aren't molded onto the tail. The Cadian recon team is excellent. The weapons looks exactly like the sort of conversion I had in mind for my Cadians, I was planning on converting some carbine style las rifles but I guess I won't have to now. Get rid of the sculpted on knee-pads and they are golden.
