mannclay
Hello everyone! I'm clearly new here and somewhat new to 40k. Been consuming printable lore and audiobooks. I'm a veteran Euro and Wargame player, but never took 40k on until now. Looking for PbP games here, whether RPG or skirmish battles, etc. Also, I'm working on learning the 3rd edition for skirmish games with some local euro/wargamers, probably using alternative pieces for units or buying some used minis that are primed or painted. Why 3rd edition? Because it just seems the simplest, the "40k in 40 minutes" seems enough, and the unit stats seem like all I need for casual local fun in one book. I can be wrong...I'm not against trying other rules. :) Edited Sunday at 04:15 PM by mannclay Adjusting my wording for clarity.
