My friend and I don’t really need extra rules right now but I’ve just read a chapter in Oaths of damnation where an Exorcist chap tears a tank apart and the crew in a possessed frenzy.  He is calmed down by a friend.

I have the blood angels codex and am aware of the lore around Death company “berserkers”.

Do you play Exorcists with a similar flavour?  How does it work?

Death Company Blood Angels are 10 points dearer and although they are bonkers there’s a balance between their attack strength and the need to have a chaplain about to keep them under control.

As an Exorcist Player, I think the Exorcists fit better as a Blood Angel Successor than they do an Imperial Fist Successor. So doing your army as  Blood Angels would make sense. I still feel like they are Grey Knights Successors with Marine Equipment.

Oaths of Damnation dealt with one of the scout companies (10th, 11th, or 12th I do not remember off the top of my head) but they were for sure very savage. The reivers were so much better in the book than in game, hopefully they get better next edition.

And at the end of the day it is your army do as you please.

Thanks, I had a quick look at who grey knights are and I absolutely agree, the exorcists seem to be the slightly deranged offspring of them.

Their chapter badge looks a bugger to replicate.

Are there any other factions that have a berserker element and supporting rules?

Really just Blood Angels maybe Space Wolves with their Blood Claws. Black Templars have Crusading Knights, Dark Angels are Monastery Knights,
